Multi-talented Rachel Stuhlmann is a leading tennis expert and the digital media host of the popular TennisONE app. She has also hosted The Toss Up, a YouTube series looking at issues in contemporary tennis. Her goal in life is to make her beloved sport more relatable and bring it fully into the mainstream. Her Instagram following of over 120,000 followers suggests that her passion for the game is infectious.
Stuhlmann hails from St Louis, Missouri. A lifelong tennis fan, she began playing competitively at high school, winning the school award for Outstanding Senior Female Athlete and, at one point, becoming one of the top 100 players in America at that level. Aged 18, she became Missouri state champion, winning the championship final in straight sets, an achievement that saw her named as the Metro Player of the Year by the St Louis Post & Dispatch. She then spent time playing at the famous John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in Texas, becoming ranked as one of the country’s top 60 players.
After graduating from high school, Stuhlmann played collegiate tennis for the Missouri Tigers whilst majoring in nutrition and fitness at the University of Missouri, and had a successful three seasons, winning game after game and often beating other national champions as she worked her way up to an NCAA ranking of 77. Now graduated, she has continued to remain immersed in the world of tennis, becoming closely associated with TennisONE, an app that keeps users up-to-date with all the latest scores, news, and views from around the world.
