Raini Rodriguez

Raini-Alena Rodriguez was born on July 1, 1993, in Bryan, Texas. Her career in entertainment began at an early age when she was discovered at an IMTA showcase by a California talent agent at age 11. This opportunity led her and her mother to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue acting opportunities, while her father remained in Texas to manage their family business, Rodriguez Tire Service. Her early career included roles in commercials and short films, laying the groundwork for her eventual breakthrough in mainstream media. Her mother homeschooled Raini and her brother Rico to support their burgeoning careers.

Rodriguez gained significant recognition for her role as Maya Blart in the film “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” (2009), a performance she reprised in its sequel, “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2” (2015). Concurrently, she became widely known for her main role as Trish De la Rosa in the Disney Channel original series “Austin & Ally,” which ran from 2011 to 2016 across 87 episodes. During this period, she also explored directing, helming an episode of “Austin & Ally” in 2015, and contributed to the soundtracks of several projects, including “The Lion Guard” and “Vampirina.” Her talent was acknowledged with a win for Best Young Television Actress at the 2013 Imagen Awards.

Her career has continued to evolve, with notable voice acting roles in animated series such as “Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous” (2020–2022) and its successor “Jurassic World: Chaos Theory” (2024–2025), where she voices the character Sammy Gutierrez across 48 and 27 episodes, respectively. She also lent her voice to Nobuko Kadoya in the English version of “When Marnie Was There” (2014) and Gretel in “A Tale Dark & Grimm” (2021). Her television credits also include recurring roles in “Bunk’d” (2019–2024) and appearances in “The Lion Guard” (2018–2019) and “Vampirina” (2017–2021). These roles demonstrate her continued presence in youth-oriented entertainment and her expansion into diverse character portrayals.
