Ranee Campen, known by her nickname Bella, was born on December 24, 1989, in Bangkok, Thailand. She is of British and Thai descent. She completed her secondary education at Sarawittaya School before attending Thammasat University, where she earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, specializing in Radio and Television. Her career in entertainment began in 2011 as a model, appearing in approximately 10 advertisements before she signed a contract with Channel 3, a prominent Thai television channel, transitioning into acting.
Her acting career gained significant momentum in 2013 with her first leading role in the drama “Porn Prom Onlaweng,” which ranked as the fifth highest-rated prime time drama on Channel 3 that year. In the same year, her role in “Khun Chai Puttipat” made her and co-star Jirayu Tangsrisuk Google’s most searched drama pairing in Thailand, leading to their win of “Fantasy Couple of the Year” at the Kerd Award 2.0. She also took on a role in the historical drama “Look Tard.” In 2014, Campen received critical acclaim and award nominations for her portrayal of Nuea Nang, a traditional dancer, in “Plerng Chimplee.” Her continued success in period dramas has established her as a sought-after actress in the country. By 2020, over a nine-year period, Campen had received more than 45 awards for her work.
A significant achievement in her career came in 2019 when she won the Best Actress award at the Nataraj Awards for her role in the romantic comedy “Love Destiny.” This performance was praised for its versatility and was even acknowledged by Thailand’s Prime Minister and Cultural Minister for promoting patriotism and Thai culture. In 2023, she expanded her filmography into international cinema, starring in the Thai-Indian romantic comedy film “Congrats My Ex!” alongside Vachirawit Chivaaree. Her consistent and impactful performances have led to her recognition as an influential figure in the Thai entertainment industry.
