The stunning Raquel Pomplun is an actress, model, dancer, and broadcaster. She is best known for being Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Year 2013. In 2018 she began performing stand-up comedy. She produces and stars in the online comedy sketch series, Chocolate Milk Series, alongside actress and model Malorie Mackey.
Born in San Diego, and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, Pomplun moved to back to the United States when she was twelve, excelling in maths and science programs, as well as modelled on the side. She later attended the University of California to study biochemistry. As a model, she has appeared on numerous magazine covers and in print advertising for companies such as Mercedes-Benz. When she modelled for Playboy she became their first Mexican-American Playmate of the Year, in 2013. The same year she made her acting debut with a small role in the sports movie, Snake & Mongoose. Her film credits have also seen her perform alongside Mark Wahlberg in The Gambler, and she has featured in a number of prestigious TV shows, including ABC’s Marvel adventure series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Netflix’s acclaimed fantasy series, Lucifer.
