Raul Neto

Raul Togni Neto, born on May 19, 1992, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, is a professional basketball player with dual Brazilian and Italian nationality. Neto began his professional basketball career in 2008 with Minas Tênis Clube in Brazil, playing in the FIBA Americas League. His early career saw him recognized for his talent, including representing the World Team at the 2010 Nike Hoop Summit and earning the NBB Revelation Player award in 2010. He further developed his skills playing for Gipuzkoa and Murcia in Spain’s Liga ACB before being drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft, 47th overall, with his rights immediately traded to the Utah Jazz.

Neto officially joined the NBA in 2015, signing with the Utah Jazz. During his tenure with the Jazz from 2015 to 2019, he consistently contributed as a point guard, playing in 81 games and starting 53 in his rookie season (2015-16), where he averaged 5.9 points and 2.1 assists. He was also selected for the 2016 Rising Stars Challenge. Following his time with the Jazz, Neto played for the Philadelphia 76ers (2019-2020), Washington Wizards (2020-2022), and Cleveland Cavaliers (2022-2023). A significant moment in his national team career was leading Brazil under-18 to a runner-up finish at the 2010 FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship and scoring 21 points against Argentina in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
