Raymond Santiago was born on June 15, 1984, in the South Bronx, New York. He is an American actor of Puerto Rican descent. Santiago pursued his interest in the performing arts early, graduating in 2002 from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York City.
Santiago began his acting career in the early 2000s, securing roles in films like “Girlfight” (2000) and “Piñero” (2001) while still a teenager. In 2004, he appeared in “Meet the Fockers,” portraying Jorge Villalobos, a role he obtained after auditioning for Robert De Niro. His career continued with appearances in films such as “Dirty Deeds” (2005), “Accepted” (2006), “The Sasquatch Gang” (2006), and “American Son” (2008). He later appeared in the 2011 film “In Time” and played Alberto in “Suburban Gothic.”
His television career includes roles in “My Name is Earl,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Law & Order: LA,” and “Dexter.” A significant turning point in his career came in 2015 when he landed a lead role in the Starz network series “Ash vs Evil Dead,” playing Pablo Simon Bolivar, a co-lead alongside Bruce Campbell. He featured in 30 episodes of the series from 2015 to 2018. More recently, Santiago has appeared in “Interrogation” (2020), “On My Block” (2021), “Evil Dead: The Game” (2022) as Pablo Simon Bolivar (voice), “Non-Evil Twin” (2023), “Summer Camp” (2024), and “Chicago Med” (2024). He is also involved in upcoming projects such as “The Cast Members” and “Swipe.”
