Born Sucha Manaying on January 9, 1988, in Phimai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand, Sushar later adopted the name Sushar. She is of Thai Chinese descent and also known by her Chinese name, Li Haina. Sushar completed her high school education at Suranaree School in Nakhon Ratchasima before pursuing performing arts at Srinakharinwirot University in Bangkok, where she graduated with second-class honors. Her early career saw her take on roles in various Thai television series, building a foundation for her future work.
Sushar gained significant recognition in 2010 for her leading role as Pie in the Thai film “Yes or No,” a role she reprised in its 2012 sequel, “Yes or No 2.” These films garnered her widespread fame across Asia, particularly in China. Her career continued to expand with notable roles in Thai remakes of popular Korean dramas. In 2013, she played Yoon (Choi Eun-suh) in the Thai adaptation of “Autumn in My Heart.” The following year, in 2014, Sushar starred as Han Ji-eun in the Thai remake of “Full House,” pairing with actor Pirat Nitipaisalkul (Mike Angelo), a collaboration that proved successful and was revisited in the 2015 Thai drama “Kiss Me,” an adaptation of the Japanese manga “Itazura na Kiss.”
Continuously diversifying her portfolio, Sushar ventured into Chinese cinema, notably starring as Bai Ling in the 2017 horror film “Haunted Road 2.” Throughout her career, she has consistently been involved in various television productions, including “Bangkok Breaking” (2021) on Netflix, “Mr. Lipstick” (2021), “Switch On” (2021–2022), and “Boss & Me” (2022). Her work extends beyond acting to include a discography featuring singles and original soundtracks for the projects she has been a part of, further establishing her as a multi-talented artist in the entertainment industry.
