Rio Haryanto

Rio Haryanto is an Indonesian racing driver known for his career in Formula One, GP2 Series, and various Asian racing championships. After competing at the highest levels of motorsport, he has transitioned into entrepreneurship. After establishing himself with multiple continental karting championships, Rio Haryanto quickly ascended through junior formulae, winning the prestigious Formula BMW Pacific Championship in 2009 with Meritus. During this breakout season, Haryanto secured 11 victories across 15 races, demonstrating early prowess that propelled him into European championships.

He competed in the challenging SIC888 Race in 2018 and subsequently participated in the Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia in 2019, showcasing his adaptability across different racing disciplines. His commitment to endurance racing continued into 2019–2020, as he competed in the Asian Le Mans Series with T2 Motorsports, further solidifying his diverse motorsport experience. Beyond his celebrated motorsport career, Haryanto has successfully transitioned into entrepreneurship, leveraging his strategic acumen. Haryanto is the owner of two thriving hospitality establishments in Central Java: Grandis Barn Restaurant and Teakyard Restaurant, reflecting his diverse business interests and operational leadership.
