Robel Garcia is a professional baseball infielder known for his journey through various leagues in the Dominican Republic, Italy, and Major League Baseball, sharing insights from a diverse international career. After helping Fortitudo Bologna (UnipolSai Bologna) secure the 2018 Italian Baseball Championship, Robel Garcia’s career gained international attention, leading to his Major League Baseball debut the following year. Garcia initially began his professional baseball journey in 2010, signing with the Cleveland Indians as a non-drafted free agent. He progressed through their minor league system, reaching Class A before his release in March 2014.

In 2022, he returned to the Cubs organization on a minor league contract, appearing in 41 games for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs, where he posted a .295 batting average with 12 home runs, showcasing his consistent power and offensive capabilities. Demonstrating his adaptable talent across diverse international leagues, Garcia later signed with the LG Twins of the KBO League and played for the Leones de Yucatán in the Mexican League in 2023.
