Robert Bruce Clotworthy is an American actor and voice actor best known for his narration on the History Channel show Ancient Aliens and The Curse of Oak Island. He is also remembered for his role as the voice of Jim Raynor in the StarCraft gaming series. When Clotworthy first appeared as Raynor in StarCraft, the character was heavily involved in the game’s storyline. He also featured in the same role in the expansion game StarCraft: Brood War. A reader’s poll for GameSpot voted Raynor one of video gaming’s top ten heroes, with GameSpot giving a special thanks to the quality of Clotworthy’s voice acting.
Twelve years after the release of StarCraft, Clotworthy was able to reprise his role in StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. He was selected as the winner of Game of the Year Awards in 2010 for Best Voice Acting by reactiontime.co.uk. He has featured in over 100 feature films and televisions shows for his voice-over work and acting. He has had roles in Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory, in film, he has a notable role as the veteran affairs doctor in American Sniper working closely with Bradley Cooper.
