Robert Miano

Robert Miano transitioned from a performing artist in music to an actor with a career spanning over five decades, known for his roles in film and television. After an accomplished early career as a recording artist that included a recording contract with Cub Label, a subsidiary of MGM Records, which led to the release of ‘Kingdom Of Love’ by The Preludes, and a subsequent signing as a Columbia Recording Artist, Robert Miano transitioned into acting. His formative performance background also included a lead rock singer role in the play ‘Satyricon’ at the Stratford Shakespearean Festival. Miano commenced his film career in 1973’s ‘Badge 373,’ directed by Howard W.

Koch, after extensive method acting study with Lee Strasberg and Warren Robertson in New York. This debut was quickly followed by a role in Michael Winner’s critically acclaimed ‘Death Wish’ in 1974. Miano subsequently relocated to Los Angeles, where he has resided for over three decades, building an extensive acting portfolio that includes over 100 feature films alongside notable actors. He established a strong presence in major productions, notably playing Sonny Red in the critically acclaimed crime drama ‘Donnie Brasco’ (1997) alongside Al Pacino and Johnny Depp.
