The brilliant sportsman Robert “The Milkman” Milkins is a professional snooker player, who is regarded as one of the most talented and gifted players on the baize. He has been placed a high as No.12 in the world snooker rankings, and at the age of 46, after 27 years as a pro, won his first ranking title when he claimed victory at the 2022 Gibraltar Open. In 2023 he claimed his second title with victory at the Welsh Open.
Born and raised in Bristol, Milkins started playing snooker at a young age, and turned professional in 1995. Over the next three decades he proved himself to be a formidable opponent on the baize at events and tournaments across the globe, but only ever made it to six semi-finals and a single final. However, all that changed in the 2021-22 season when he won the Gibraltar Open. Then the following year he claimed his second career victory by winning the Welsh Open.
