Robin Wright

Robin Wright has established a career as an acclaimed actress, producer, and director, recognized for her diverse roles from early television to leading positions in major films and streaming series. After securing a breakthrough role on the soap opera ‘Santa Barbara’ from 1984 to 1988, which earned her three Daytime Emmy nominations, Robin Wright transitioned to film with a starring performance as Princess Buttercup in ‘The Princess Bride’ (1987). She continued to build her filmography with roles in ‘Denial’ (1990), ‘State of Grace’ (1990), ‘The Playboys’ (1992), and ‘Toys’ (1992). In 1994, Wright achieved widespread critical acclaim for her portrayal of Jenny in the Oscar-winning film ‘Forrest Gump,’ which garnered her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Wright continued with notable performances, including ‘The Crossing Guard’ (1995) and the titular role in ‘Moll Flanders’ (1996), for which she received a Satellite Award nomination for Best Actress in a Drama.
