Rory Bushfield has transitioned from an award-winning professional skier and television personality to a philanthropist and pilot, influencing audiences with his dedication and life philosophy. After winning multiple Gold medals and becoming a Junior World Champion in Mogul skiing, Rory Bushfield transitioned to the emerging discipline of freeskiing, quickly establishing himself as a top athlete. He secured a Gold Medal at the 2002 Planet X Winter Games Freeskiing Championship and achieved a sixth-place finish in slopestyle at the US Freestyle Open. Recognized for his pioneering aerial maneuvers, Bushfield was nominated Powder Magazine’s ‘Most Man-Made Air’ winner and became the first skier to successfully land a 1080 in Half-Pipe competition.
Currently, Bushfield also dedicates his time to volunteering as a youth ski coach, sharing his extensive experience with the next generation. He is a skilled single-engine pilot, flying his upgraded Cessna 180, which is equipped with a ski-kit, allowing him to access remote snowy areas.
