Ross Lynch was born on December 29, 1995, in Littleton, Colorado. He gained initial recognition for his role as Austin Moon in the Disney Channel original comedy series “Austin & Ally,” which ran from 2011 to 2016. This role led to multiple Kids’ Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards for ‘Favorite TV Actor’ and ‘Choice TV Actor: Comedy.’ During his time with Disney, Lynch also starred as Brady in the Disney Channel Original Movies “Teen Beach Movie” (2013) and its sequel “Teen Beach 2” (2015), which garnered significant viewership. His acting work in this period developed his profile as a teen idol and solidified his presence in the family entertainment sector.
In 2016, Lynch began to diversify his acting portfolio, starring in the film “Status Update” with Olivia Holt and taking on the role of teenage Jeffrey Dahmer in the critically received biographical film “My Friend Dahmer” (2017). This marked a shift towards more mature and independent projects. From 2018 to 2020, he held a main role as Harvey Kinkle in the Netflix series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.” Alongside his acting career, Lynch has maintained a significant musical presence.
