Michael Feliciano, better known by their stage name Roxxxy Andrews, is an American drag performer who rose to fame after appearing on Logo TV’s hit reality competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Born in Florida, Andrews was raised by their grandmother. Andrews enjoys a close relationship with their grandmother as a result and the pair appeared together in an episode of Drag Race. Andrews’ career began in the 2000s when the drag performer was inducted into the Haus of Andrews by their drag mother Erica Andrews. Early club appearances included shows at Parliament and Pulse nightclubs in Orlando. Soon, Andrews began competing in drag pageantry, winning Miss Continental Plus in 2010.
In 2012, Andrews was named one of 14 drag queens to be competing on the fifth season of Drag Race. An iconic cast member, Andrews won their place in Drag Race history after memorably pulling off their wig to reveal another wig underneath in a lip-sync for your life. Deemed the best lip-sync battle ever by host RuPaul, Andrews saved herself from being eliminated. They ultimately placed as a runner up in the finale.
They later returned on RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars season two in 2016. Andrews, who had been portrayed as the villain of season five after feuding with winner Jinx Monsoon, had a redemption arc on their All-Stars series. Andrews again made it to the finale, becoming the first contestant to survive being in the bottom two five times, a testament to her performance abilities. Today, Andrews continues to perform at nightclubs around the world and is a successful pageant queen, most recently winning Miss Angel City Continental in 2019. They boast over 500,000 followers on Instagram and will forever be a member of the Drag Race hall of fame.
