Michael W. Feliciano, known professionally as Roxxxy Andrews, was born on September 23, 1983, in North Miami Beach, Florida. Of Puerto Rican and Cuban-American heritage, Feliciano’s early life included being raised by his grandmother, Sonja, after his mother’s absence. His drag career commenced in Orlando at venues such as Parliament House and Pulse nightclubs. He later engaged in drag pageantry, securing the title of Miss Continental Plus in 2010. This period established his foundation in drag performance and competition.
In November 2012, Roxxxy Andrews gained national attention as a contestant on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. She achieved significant success on the show, winning two main challenges—”RuPaullywood or Bust” and “Super Troopers.” Her notable lip-sync performance against Alyssa Edwards during the “RuPaul Roast” episode was recognized by RuPaul as a highlight of the series. Andrews concluded her initial run on RuPaul’s Drag Race as a runner-up. Her career continued to evolve with subsequent appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. In June 2016, she returned for the second season of All Stars, where she again won the first challenge, becoming the first contestant to achieve this feat on two separate seasons. She progressed to the finale, finishing in fourth place. In July 2020, she reappeared as a Lip-Sync Assassin on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars. Her most recent competitive return was in April 2024 for the ninth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, where she placed as a runner-up alongside Vanessa Vanjie Mateo.
Throughout her career, Roxxxy Andrews has been recognized for her artistry and competitive spirit. Beyond her appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race, she notably received a tattoo in June 2016 to honor the victims of the Orlando nightclub shooting, which occurred at Pulse, a venue where she had performed.
