Ryan Atkinson

Ryan Atkinson accumulated 19 wins and 400 strikeouts across 106 Minor League Baseball (MiLB) games during his professional pitching career, which spanned four seasons from 2016 to 2019. Playing primarily within the Arizona Diamondbacks organization as a right-handed pitcher, Atkinson made 53 starts and maintained a 4.38 ERA across 341.1 innings pitched, achieving a 1.37 WHIP. His professional journey commenced in 2016 with assignments to both the AZL D-backs and the Missoula Osprey, marking the start of his consistent progression through the minor league system. Atkinson’s career trajectory within professional baseball saw significant progression, including playing for three different teams in 2017 alone: the Kane County Cougars (A Full), Visalia Rawhide (A Advanced), and the Jackson Generals (AA).

His talent earned him invitations to the Arizona Diamondbacks spring training in both 2018 and 2019, a recognition of his potential within the organization. By 2019, he reached the AAA level, pitching for the Reno Aces, in addition to further assignments with the AZL D-backs and the Jackson Generals. His tenure in Minor League Baseball concluded with his release by the Reno Aces in 2020, paving the way for his next professional chapter. Following his playing career in 2020, Atkinson leveraged his expertise as a professional athlete to found and operate Performance House Gym in Cincinnati, Ohio.
