Ryan Eggold

Ryan Eggold is an American actor known for his roles in popular television series such as “The Blacklist” and “New Amsterdam.” He has also expanded his career into directing, writing, and producing films. After making his professional television debut on Related and his professional film debut in Con: The Corruption of Helm, both in 2006, Ryan Eggold quickly secured recurring television roles across various networks including CBS, HBO, Cartoon Network, ABC, The CW, and FX. He gained significant recognition for his role as Tom Keen in the acclaimed NBC drama The Blacklist, a character he portrayed from 2013 to 2018. This pivotal role led to his reprisal in the 2017 spin-off series, The Blacklist: Redemption, further establishing his presence in network television.

From 2018 to 2023, Eggold commanded the screen as Dr. Max Goodwin in the NBC series New Amsterdam, a leading role that further solidified his appeal to a wide audience. During his tenure on the series, he expanded his creative contributions by directing three episodes of New Amsterdam between 2020 and 2022, showcasing his developing expertise behind the camera. In 2021, recognizing his multifaceted talent, Eggold signed a first-look deal with Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, to develop new projects through his own production company, Analog A Productions.
