Ryan Lambert

Ryan Lambert, born on March 29, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio, relocated to Los Angeles at age four. His professional acting career began at 13, following early experience in a musical comedy troupe called “On Stage Kids.” He gained early recognition as a lead performer on the syndicated hit television show “Kids Incorporated” from 1985 to 1988, where he honed his acting and musical abilities. This role established his presence in pop-culture history. His acting career continued with notable work in films and television series, including an uncredited role as Dr. Peter Normann in “License to Kill” (2020) and a role as Minister in “Wrecker” (2022). In 2023, he took on the role of Bishop Lugari in “The Demons Within” and was part of the podcast series “Exeter” as a Sergeant and Radio Reporter, appearing in two episodes.

Lambert is widely known for his role as Rudy in the 1987 cult hit film “The Monster Squad.” Despite the film’s initial box office performance, it later garnered a significant cult following, leading to reunion screenings and fan conventions where Lambert continues to engage with dedicated audiences. His career also expanded into writing and producing. He co-hosted the digital short film series “Short Ends” for Nerdist/Legendary Studios from 2017 to 2018, where he was credited as a writer across 22 episodes. Additionally, he served as an associate producer for the documentary “Wolfman’s Got Nards” (2018), which explored the impact of “The Monster Squad,” and as a producer for the short film “An Elder Man” (2017).

He is a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in guitar and piano, and has taught himself the Irish tin whistle, ukulele, and harmonica. He is a member of the rock band Kill Moi, which has released new music.
