Ryan Lo Jun Han, born on February 26, 1997, in Singapore, began his sailing career in 2004. He quickly established himself as a competitive sailor, clinching a bronze medal at the 2010 Asian Games in the Men’s Optimist event. His early success continued with a gold medal at the 2011 World Championships in the Men’s Team Optimist category in Napier, New Zealand, showcasing his potential on the international stage. Throughout his career, Lo has consistently placed in major competitions, including a silver medal at the 2008 Asian Championships in Bali and multiple gold and silver medals at the Southeast Asian Games, such as a gold in the Men’s Laser event at the 2017 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games.
Lo’s career progression includes significant achievements at the Asian Games, securing a bronze medal in the Men’s Laser event at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games and later achieving a gold medal in the Men’s ILCA7 at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
