Ryan Merriman

Ryan Merriman, born on April 10, 1983, in Choctaw, Oklahoma, began his acting career at age eight, engaging in commercials, print work, vocal performances, and local theater. By age ten, he transitioned into film and television, quickly establishing himself in the industry. His early roles showcased his versatility and laid the groundwork for a career across various genres.

Merriman gained early recognition for his role as young Jarod on the NBC series “The Pretender” from 1996 to 2000, appearing in 50 episodes. During this period, he also starred in several television films for the Disney Channel, including “Smart House” (1999) and “The Luck of the Irish” (2001), which broadened his audience. His feature film debut was in “The Deep End of the Ocean” (1999) alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, playing a lost son. He continued to build his filmography with roles in horror films like “Halloween: Resurrection” (2002), “The Ring Two” (2005), and “Final Destination 3” (2006). Over the years, Merriman has demonstrated his ability to adapt to different roles, from family-friendly Disney productions to psychological thrillers and dramatic features.
