Ryan Nemeth

Ryan Nemeth was born on November 4, 1984, in Cleveland, Ohio. He embarked on his professional wrestling career in 2010 with Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he quickly distinguished himself by winning the promotion’s first Breakout competition, which included a one-year paid scholarship. During his time in OVW, Nemeth, sometimes under his real name and at other times as part of a tag team, captured the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship twice. This early success set the stage for his progression into larger wrestling organizations.

In 2011, Nemeth signed a developmental contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where he was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and later NXT, adopting the ring name Briley Pierce. In FCW, he achieved further tag team success, winning the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships with Brad Maddox. His tenure with WWE involved both in-ring performances and roles as an interviewer, appearing on NXT. After his release from WWE in 2013, Nemeth actively competed on the independent circuit, showcasing his skills in various promotions.

His career expanded significantly in 2021 when he joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where he performed as ‘Hollywood Hunk’ Ryan Nemeth and aligned with other wrestlers. Beyond wrestling, Nemeth has pursued acting and writing, appearing in notable productions such as ‘The Iron Claw’ (2023), ‘I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson’ (2019), and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ (2003-2025). Most recently, in 2024, Nemeth joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) alongside his brother Nic Nemeth, where they secured the TNA World Tag Team Championship in 2025.
