Sabila Nur was born in Chittagong, Bangladesh, on May 27, 1995. Her early years included training in dance at the Bulbul Lalitakala Academy. She later pursued higher education, studying for a Bachelor of Business Administration at North South University and subsequently a Bachelor of Arts in English at American International University-Bangladesh, where she graduated in 2023. Nur began her professional career by modeling for Grameenphone, a prominent telecommunications company in Bangladesh. This early work in commercials marked her initial entry into the media industry, setting the groundwork for her acting career.
Nur transitioned into acting with her telefilm debut in ‘U-Turn’ in 2014. She gained significant recognition with her role as “The Imaginary Girl” in the romantic comedy telefilm ‘Monkey Bizness’ in 2015. Her bright appearance and consistent work in television dramas and advertisement films contributed to her growing popularity. Throughout her career, she has appeared in numerous television productions, including ‘Chemistry’ (2016), ‘Basic Ali’ (2017), ‘Xchange’ (2020), ‘Koshtoneer’ (2021), ‘Bachelor’s Qurbani’ (2022), and ‘Shohore Onek Rod’ (2023). She has also held hosting roles, notably for Gazi TV’s ‘GTV Fanta Band’ and Banglavision’s ‘Lux Style File’. Her career expanded into feature films with her debut in ‘Mujib: The Making of a Nation’ in 2023, where she played Sheikh Rehana.
