Sabrina Terence was born and raised in Germany, near Berlin, where she developed early interests in both music and art. Despite excelling in these subjects during her schooling, she initially pursued a career in interior design, followed by a period where she ran her own modeling agency. In 2006, Terence transitioned her career into DJing, quickly becoming a prominent figure in Dubai’s music scene, a role she maintained for approximately 16 years. Her DJ career highlights include performing at a Breitling event in Dubai alongside John Travolta and at an event in Beijing, China, with Nicholas Cage. She also performed at the opening for Paris Hilton’s handbag store launch in Dubai in 2010.
After seven years of extensive touring as a DJ, Sabrina sought a creative outlet to manage stress and find balance in her demanding lifestyle. This led her to rediscover her passion for painting during a meditation retreat in Thailand in 2015. She subsequently moved to Washington, D.C., to formally study art, where she developed her unique artistic voice. Sabrina is noted for her series of black oil paintings, created between 2017 and 2018, which often resemble vinyl records, reflecting her musical background. Her artwork has been displayed at various venues, including the Capital Club DIFC in Dubai, and she held her first museum exhibition in Halberstadt, Germany, from December 2022 to May 2023. She is recognized for being the first artist to successfully send her artwork 65 km into space.
Sabrina Terence’s career progression demonstrates a continuous evolution across different creative fields. Her work as a space artist, sending her artwork into the stratosphere, garnered media attention, including a feature in Germany’s Bild Magazine. Her art pieces, such as “Serenity,” “Circle of Life,” “Vinyl Power,” “Pinky Lips,” and “Bitcoin,” reflect her diverse inspirations and embrace of abstract acrylic mixed media. Terence values flexibility in her artistic styles, moving beyond a single approach. She continues to contribute to both the music and art industries, establishing herself as an international artist and DJ, with a focus on Dubai.
