Sage Brocklebank was born on January 14, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He began his acting career in 2001, appearing in over 40 film and television roles. One of his most recognized early roles was in the comedy-drama series “Psych,” where he played Buzz McNab, a recurring character, from 2006 to 2014. During this period, he also appeared in a variety of other television series and films, including “Stargate SG-1” (2006), “Smallville” (2006), “How I Married My High School Crush” (2007), and “Alien Trespass” (2009).
Brocklebank expanded his career into production in 2014, contributing to films such as “Suspension” (2015), “Real Fiction” (2016), and “Ariel Unraveling” (2016). His acting work continued with appearances in prominent television shows including “Once Upon a Time” (2011), “Arrow” (2012), “Supernatural” (2013), and “A Series of Unfortunate Events” (2018). He reprised his role as Buzz McNab in subsequent “Psych” television films, including “Psych: The Movie” (2017), “Psych 2: Lassie Come Home” (2020), and “Psych 3: This Is Gus” (2021). Further roles include “The Predator” (2018), “Peacemaker” (2022), and an episode of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” (2021). Alongside his work in film and television, Brocklebank has been involved in theatre, creating, producing, and starring in plays such as “Felony” (2012), “In a Dark Dark House,” “The Shape of Things,” and “TAPE” in Vancouver. He is also a professional poker player.
