Australian renaissance woman Samantha Shakira Clarke can boast a whole host of titles and talents. She is an actress, athlete, presenter, motivational speaker, boxer, yoga teacher, ninja warrior, event MC, fitness personality, social media influencer, and perhaps unsurprisingly, and entrepreneur. Currently living in Vancouver, Canada, she first built her reputation in her home country, and became familiar to TV audiences there with roles in Home & Away and ABC1 miniseries, The Cut.
Clarke is a respected and much-sought-after inspirational speaker and event MC. She has been affiliated with events by major brands, including Apple, and is a particular favourite with the surfing community around Australia’s Bondi Beach, being a regular host and contributor to Bondi Radio. She is also always in demand as a fitness trainer and is qualified in a dizzying number of disciplines from yoga to pilates to boxing. She also competed on the first series of Australian Ninja Warrior, pitting her skills and determination against some of Australia’s best athletes.
With her affable, always upbeat, girl-next-door charm, Clarke is an obvious choice for all kinds of sporting and corporate events. But she is also a successful business founder in her own right, having created Slice of the Pie, an ethically focused marketing company that seeks to partner ethical brands and campaigns with influencers. But for all her success, the greatest joy for Clarke is in giving back. As Slice of the Pie’s motto goes, she wants to “inspire every man, woman, and child to live the life of their dreams, and give back in the process.”
