American actor, comedian, writer and director Justin Long has starred extensively in feature films and is known for his comedy show appearances.
Growing up in Connecticut, Long became interested in theatre from an early age, before going on to participate in the Vassar College sketch comedy and dramatics group. Since his film debut in the 1999 film Galaxy Quest, Long’s extensive list of feature film credits, includes Jeepers Creepers, Crossroads, DodgeBall, The Break-Up, For a Good Time, Call… and more recently, After Class, The Wave and Lady of the Manor. Throughout his career, Long has also played the voice of Alvin in the Alvin and the Chipmunks films series. Of his TV roles, in 2000, Long played Warren in the comedy Ed and has since gone on to make many appearances in popular shows including That ‘70s Show, King of the Hill, New Girl, Unsupervised and Drunk History. Long has also appeared in numerous comedy skits on shows including Inside Amy Schumer, The Michael J. Fox Show and Saturday Night Live.
Of his other projects, in 2010 Long co-hosted WWE Raw and more recently is the host of the Disney+ series Shop Class. He has also recorded the audiobooks for Stephen King’s Everything’s Eventual and The Again, Maybe I Won’t by Judy Blume. As a writer and director, Long is the co-creator and star of the mini-series, The Real Stephen Blatt.
