Sarah Anderson is a talented American curler from Broomall in Pennsylvania. She is best known for winning the 2019 United States Women’s Curling Championship alongside her twin sister Tayler Anderson, and also won a silver medal at the 2016 World Junior Curling Championships.
After displaying an enormous degree of natural talent as a youth, Anderson commenced her junior career by participating in the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics as part of Team USA. After a few years of honing her skills and finding her rhythm, she eventually won both the 2015 and 2016 World Junior Curling Championships. Once she aged out of the junior game, she continued her run of success, winning golds at the United States Mixed Doubles Championships in 2015 and 2018. She also won gold at the United States women’s championship in 2021, and earned a respectable silver medal in the 2021 United States Olympic Curling Trials.
A well-known figure in the sport and one of the finest curlers that the United States has ever produced, Anderson will continue to work hard to cement her place as one of the best curlers in the world. She has aspirations of participating in the Winter Olympics, a feat which is well within her reach if her career continues on its current trajectory.
