Sarah Wilhite Parsons

Sarah Wilhite Parsons capped a phenomenal collegiate career in 2016 by becoming the first Gopher to be named both the AVCA and espnW National Player of the Year while playing for the University of Minnesota. Parsons’ impressive talent was evident earlier, being named Gatorade Minnesota Player of the Year in both 2011 and 2012, and leading Northern Lights Volleyball Club to win the 17 Open Division at the 2012 Girls’ Junior National Championships. Following her collegiate success, Parsons joined the U.S. Women’s National Team in 2017, and her first international club assignment was with Busto in Italy (2017–2018).

Olympic team for the 2020 Tokyo Games. Most recently in 2023, Parsons again represented the U.S. Women’s National Team, earning a Bronze medal at the NORCECA Pan Am Cup and a Gold medal at the NORCECA Pan Am Cup Final Six. Looking ahead, she will continue her distinguished career in the U.S.

domestic league, having signed with the Omaha Supernovas for the 2025 season. Her consistent performance and leadership across top-tier international and national competitions underscore her enduring value as a premier professional volleyball talent.
