Savannah Graybill is an American skeleton racer, who has competed in the World Championships and the World Cup.
Throughout her time at school and college, Graybill played field hockey, before trying out the bobsleigh. She quickly made the switch to skeleton and hasn’t looked back, entering her first international race in the 2010- 2011 season when she competed at the North American Cup. She soon progressed up through the ranks, competing at the Intercontinental Cup the following year and being promoted to the World Cup circuit by the time the 2014- 2015 season started. Graybill won gold at the North American Cup in 2015, the same season that she took home an incredible three medals in the Intercontinental Cup. She went on to beat her own record the next year, taking home two gold medals and once again living up to her reputation as a leading light on the skeleton scene. Her first World Championships appearance came in 2017, and she returned to the competition two years later where she took a bronze in the team event and finished eighth in the individual.
This impressive athlete already has a long and successful career behind her, and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. With her job at a sports shop near the Olympic Training Centre in Lake Placid, Graybill has plenty of opportunities to train and remain at the top of her game.
