World No. 1 rider Scott Brash partnered with leading Swiss watchmaker Rolex as its newest equestrian athlete to join the Rolex family of Testimonees. Scott Brash MBE was born on November 23, 1985, in Peebles, Scotland. He began riding ponies at seven years old and entered show jumping through The Pony Club at age ten. His early career saw him achieve significant results around 2010 with the horse Intertoy Z, including appearances at the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games and CSIO5* Nations Cup events in Dublin and Aachen in 2011. He quickly established himself as a prominent figure in the equestrian world, showcasing his dedication and talent from a young age through consistent participation and competitive results.
Brash gained international recognition when he started riding Hello Sanctos in early 2012. Together, they were part of the British team that secured a gold medal in the team jumping event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. This Olympic victory marked a significant turning point in his career, leading to his appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours for his contributions to equestrianism. In 2013, he continued his success by winning team gold and individual bronze at the European Show Jumping Championships in Herning, and also clinched the Doha Grand Prix, securing the overall 2013 Global Champions Tour championship.
A pinnacle of his career arrived in 2015 when Scott Brash, with Hello Sanctos, made history by becoming the first rider to win show jumping’s Rolex Grand Slam. This involved winning the Rolex Grand Prix titles in Aachen, Geneva, and Spruce Meadows within a single year, earning a prize of €1 million. His achievements further expanded with multiple Longines Global Champions Tour victories, including Miami Beach and Cascais with Hello Sanctos, and Monaco with Hello M’Lady. Brash has maintained a top position in the Longines World Rankings, and in September 2025, he won the Spruce Meadows Rolex Master €5 million GP for the third time, taking home a €1.6 million Canadian dollar prize. He has now won five prestigious Rolex Grand Slams.
