Scott Williams

Scott Williams, born on January 18, 1990, in Boston, Lincolnshire, England, commenced his darts career in 2018. He joined the British Darts Organisation (BDO) circuit in 2019 and made his debut at the 2020 BDO World Darts Championship. Later, Williams transitioned to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 2022. That same year, he distinguished himself by winning his first PDC Challenge Tour title, followed by a second Challenge Tour win on the same day. He later achieved a significant milestone by winning Players Championship 17 in June 2022, becoming only the third player to win a PDC ranking event without holding a PDC Tour Card.

Williams continued his career progression by securing a Tour Card in 2023. A notable achievement during this period was reaching the semi-finals of the 2023 Hungarian Darts Trophy. However, his most significant breakthrough occurred at the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship, where he advanced to the semi-finals. During this tournament, he secured wins against notable opponents such as Danny Noppert and three-time World Champion Michael van Gerwen. This performance solidified his position in the professional darts circuit, showcasing his capabilities on a major stage. He subsequently reached the quarter-finals of the 2024 Players Championship Finals, further demonstrating consistent performance at a high level.

Williams has earned multiple titles, including four PDC Challenge Tour titles in 2022 and one Players Championship title in the same year.
