Corey Pavin

Corey Pavin, a U.S. Open champion and former Ryder Cup captain, turned professional in 1982, quickly establishing himself with international victories at the 1983 Lexington PGA in South Africa and the 1983 German Open. He made his mark on the PGA Tour, earning his first victory at the 1984 Houston Coca-Cola Open. Over the ensuing decade, Pavin secured multiple titles, including the 1985 Colonial National Invitation, the 1986 Hawaiian Open and Greater Milwaukee Open, and the 1987 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic and Hawaiian Open.

He continued his PGA Tour success with a victory at the 1996 MasterCard Colonial.
