The gorgeous Shannon Stewart Ratliff is a fashion model and beauty pageant contestant, who is best known for being the runner-up on the first season of the hit reality TV show America’s Next Top Model. She also appeared on the All-star edition of the show, placing sixth as a finalist. She was the first runner-up in the Miss Ohio USA pageant in 2004, and a semi-finalist in 2006. She is a devout Christian and is married to fellow model Matthew Ratliff.
Born and raised in Franklin, Ohio, Stewart grew up with an ambition to be a supermodel. After High School she briefly attended the Wright State University but dropped out when she was selected to be on the first season of America’s Next Top Model. She was 18-years-old at the time. She and fellow contestant Robin Manning caused controversy when they refused to take part in a nude photo shoot. Stewart was eventually named runner-up. She then appeared in the All-star edition of the show, and again after refusing to participate in a photo shoot in which the models were required to model underwear, she was eliminated. She continued to model, signing with Elite Models, and went on to pose for many publications, including Elle Girl Magazine, and Teen Vogue, as well as appearing on runway shows. She also took part in Miss Ohio 2004, and again in 2006.
Stewart regularly connects with her legions of followers and fans through Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos about her spiritual life. She also has an official website, shannonstewartmodel.com.
