After achieving international recognition as one of the fifteen contestants on the eleventh season of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ Jesus Martinez Jr., professionally known as Shuga Cain, has built a diverse career in entertainment and digital content creation. Prior to his breakthrough, Cain showcased his acting talents starring as Sonny Malone in a 2011 production of ‘Xanadu.’ Demonstrating a full commitment to his artistic path, he made a pivotal career change in 2017, leaving a corporate position with Scholastic Corporation to pursue drag full-time. In 2018, Cain honed his mentorship skills, participating as a Drag Mentor in Max Emerson’s ‘Drag Babies’ series, setting the stage for his impactful television debut.

Further solidifying his stage presence, Cain also became a cast member for the festive ‘A Drag Queen Christmas’ tour in 2019, performing for audiences nationwide.
