Simon Templeman

Simon Templeman is an actor recognized for his voice acting contributions to prominent video game franchises and his live-action roles in television series. After establishing his theatrical prowess with the Royal Shakespeare Company National West Tour, performing in William Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and ‘A Midsummer’s Night Dream,’ Simon Templeman transitioned to television with appearances in ‘The Professionals’ in 1983 and ‘The Fear’ in 1988. He then made a significant impact in the voice acting industry, originating the iconic role of Kain in the ‘Legacy of Kain’ video game franchise with ‘Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain’ in 1996. This foundational role established him as a distinctive voice in popular gaming.

Templeman continued to define the ‘Legacy of Kain’ series, reprising his role as Kain, and adding Dumah, in ‘Soul Reaver’ (1999) and ‘Legacy of Kain: Defiance’ (2003).
