Brandon Allen, professionally known as SlimXX, Slim Gudz, and BlaqAbe, is a producer, studio engineer, and songwriter, prominently associated with global rap superstar Machine Gun Kelly. Originating from Cleveland, Ohio, SlimXX and Machine Gun Kelly were acquainted for over a decade, having attended rival high schools. SlimXX’s role expanded from being Machine Gun Kelly’s hype man to becoming his primary producer and musical director, contributing significantly to his artistic trajectory. He is credited with the inclusion of the ‘XX’ suffix in Machine Gun Kelly’s crew members’ names, signifying it as a “family crest.”

SlimXX has played an integral role in shaping Machine Gun Kelly’s discography. His production credits include the 2012 album “Lace Up” with the track “Save Me,” the 2013 mixtape “Black Flag” featuring “Raise The Flag,” the 2015 album “General Admission” with “World Series,” and the 2017 album “Bloom” including “The Gunner.” A notable production achievement is his work on the international hit “Bad Things” in collaboration with Camila Cabello. His recent compositional work includes numerous music videos for Machine Gun Kelly, such as “Outlaw Overture” (2025), “Your Name Forever” (2025), “Lonely Road” (2024) with Jelly Roll, and “Don’t Let Me Go” (2024).

Beyond his musical contributions, SlimXX gained public recognition for a heroic act during the No Class Tour when he saved a baby from drowning. This event, which garnered significant social media attention, highlighted a positive aspect of the Hip Hop community. SlimXX continues to work on Machine Gun Kelly’s projects, including his role as a keyboardist for “Mgk: Miss Sunshine” (2025) and as a composer for various soundtracks, like “Big Time Adolescence” (2019) and “Good Mourning” (2022). He currently resides in Los Angeles and frequently accompanies Machine Gun Kelly on international tours and major music festivals.
