Steph Tolev is a Canadian comedian and actress recognized for her stand-up and sketch comedy, including performances at Just For Laughs and a Netflix special. After earning the Most Innovative Comedy Troupe award at Montreal Sketchfest in 2010 for her sketch comedy duo Ladystache, Steph Tolev has gone on to become an award-winning comedian and actress recognized for her distinctive stand-up and sketch performances. Tolev, alongside Allison Hogg, officially formed Ladystache in 2009, quickly establishing the duo in the comedy scene. Their achievements continued with a nomination for Best Sketch Troupe at the 2013 Canadian Comedy Awards and the prestigious Just for Laughs Award at Montreal Sketchfest in 2014.

She also diversified her platform by launching her popular podcast, ‘Steph Infection,’ where she engages with fellow comedians in candid discussions on bodily ailments. Looking ahead, 2024 saw Tolev join the fifth season of ‘Canada’s Drag Race’ as a guest judge on the iconic Snatch Game episode, showcasing her versatility and cultural impact. She further cemented her global presence by filming her highly anticipated Netflix special, ‘Filth Queen’, at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, Massachusetts, in 2025, promising to deliver her signature brand of comedy to an even broader international viewership.
