Chris Diamantopoulos

Christopher Diamantopoulos was born on May 9, 1975, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Greek immigrant parents. He spent his early years dividing his time between Canada and Greece, becoming fluent in Greek. His performing career began early, with television commercials and professional theatre productions starting at age nine. This early start provided a foundation for his diverse career, which would later encompass various genres and character types.

At 18, Diamantopoulos embarked on American national tours, leading to significant roles on Broadway. He performed in “Les Misérables” (2003) and “The Full Monty” (2002), where he played Ethan Girard. His transition into screen acting included guest appearances in numerous television series such as “The Sopranos,” “The Office,” and “24.” A notable film role was playing Moe Howard in “The Three Stooges” (2012). He has also gained recognition for his extensive voice acting career, most notably as the voice of Mickey Mouse in the eponymous television series and “The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse,” a role for which he received two Emmy Award nominations.

Throughout his career, Diamantopoulos has continued to take on varied roles in both live-action and animated productions. His work spans from supporting roles in series like “Silicon Valley” as Russ Hanneman, to voice roles in animated shows such as “Invincible” and “American Dad!”. In 2017, he returned to Broadway in “Waitress.” His recent work includes the film “Red Notice” (2021) and the upcoming Apple TV series “Dark Matter” (2026), showcasing his continued presence in the entertainment industry.
