Stephania Haralabidis is an Olympic Gold Medalist and NCAA Champion in Water Polo, known for her record-setting scoring and consistent performance as an athlete for both club and national teams. After winning gold medals at the 2011 European Junior Championship and the 2012 Youth World Championships for Greece, Stephania Haralabidis went on to establish herself as a world-class water polo athlete. She was named MVP of the 2011 Junior European Championship and secured another gold at the 2014 European U19 Championship in Ostia, Italy. Her early international career also included a bronze medal at the 2012 FINA World League in Changshu, China, while competing on the Greek senior national team.
Senior National Team, immediately contributing to significant victories. She earned a gold medal at the 2018 FINA World League in Kunshan, China, followed by another gold at the 2018 FINA World Cup in Surgut, Russia. In 2019, she was the leading scorer for Team USA with 22 goals at the Pan American Games in Lima, securing a gold medal, and also won gold at the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju. Her career reached a pinnacle with an Olympic gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which was followed by another gold medal at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest.
Following her stellar collegiate and international career, Haralabidis continued to compete professionally. For the 20212022 season, she played for the Greek club Ethnikos in Piraeus, Athens, where she was instrumental in the team winning the 202122 Women’s LEN Trophy, marking the club’s second European title. Beyond her athletic achievements, Haralabidis holds a degree in International Relations and a minor in Marketing from the University of Southern California, complemented by an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
