Sterling Knight

Sterling Knight is an American actor, singer, and dancer known for his roles across television and film, including his work with Disney Channel. After gaining widespread recognition for his role as Alex O’Donnell in the 2009 feature film 17 Again, Sterling Knight went on to establish himself as a leading talent across television and film, notably through his work with Disney Channel. Knight made his acting debut in early projects such as ‘Calm’, ‘Career Day’, and ‘Hi-Jinks’, followed by appearances in Disney’s ‘Hannah Montana’ in 2007, ‘The Closer’ in 2007, and both ‘Out of Jimmy’s Head’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ in 2008. His breakthrough year continued in 2009 with his leading television role as Chad Dylan Cooper in the popular Disney Channel series ‘Sonny with a Chance’, a character he portrayed until 2011, playing a significant part in the show’s narrative.

In addition to his acting, Knight contributed as a singer, performing songs for the soundtracks of both ‘StarStruck’ and ‘Sonny with a Chance’. Most recently, Sterling Knight delivered a supporting performance in the 2022 film It Snows All the Time.
