Steve Grand first captured international attention on July 2, 2013, with the self-funded release of his music video for ‘All-American Boy’ on YouTube. The video, produced for US$7,000, quickly achieved viral status, accumulating over 1 million views within eight days. This breakthrough led to immediate appearances on national media platforms including Good Morning America and CNN, followed by a television debut performing ‘All-American Boy’ on WLS-TV’s Windy City Live on July 18, 2013. Grand was recognized on Out magazine’s ‘Out100’ list that year, and continued his momentum with singles ‘Stay’ in September 2013 and ‘Time’ in 2014.
In December 2017, Grand made his acting debut in the web series ‘Falling for Angels.’ Concurrently, he held successful summer residencies at The Art House in Provincetown, Massachusetts, in both 2017 and 2018. His second album, ‘Not the End of Me,’ was released on July 6, 2018, and quickly made a significant impact, charting at number 10 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart by July 21, 2018. Building on his artistic and entrepreneurial endeavors, Grand launched his own clothing line, Grand Axis, in 2019.
