Throughout her career, Taru has competed in various events, partnering with different athletes to achieve competitive results. Her journey in beach volleyball includes participation in events like the Beach Pro Tour, where she has showcased her abilities against international competitors. She plays the right-side position and stands at 178 cm.
Her career highlights include strong performances on the Beach Pro Tour, such as claiming silver at the Beach Pro Tour Challenge in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and winning gold at the Beach Pro Tour Futures in Brussels, Belgium, in August 2024. These achievements underscore her capabilities as a top-level athlete. Taru has also been a key part of Finland’s national beach volleyball program, contributing to the team’s efforts to qualify for major championships, including the 2024 CEV Beach Volley Nations Cup Finals.
