Tevaun Smith

Following a collegiate career at the University of Iowa where he played in 47 games and recorded 102 receptions for 1,500 yards and seven touchdowns, Tevaun Smith was drafted 8th overall in the first round of the 2016 CFL draft by the Edmonton Eskimos. Smith initially pursued a career in the NFL, signing with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on May 2, 2016, where he spent time on their practice squad and had brief stints on the active roster. He continued his NFL journey with practice squad placements on the Oakland Raiders and the Jacksonville Jaguars through 2017 and 2018, before returning to Canadian football. In 2019, Smith signed a two-year contract with the Edmonton Eskimos, making a significant impact in his first CFL season with 55 receptions for 632 yards and six touchdowns.
