United States Malik Willis has carved a path from college football standout to an impactful NFL quarterback, now playing for the Green Bay Packers.
Willis served as the Youth Football Ambassador. This role involved promoting youth football and participating in related events for the bowl game.

Malik Antonio Willis was born on May 25, 1999, in College Park, Georgia. His football journey began at Westlake High School in Atlanta before transferring to Roswell High School in Roswell, Georgia, for his senior year. During his senior season, he showcased his dual-threat capabilities, passing for 2,562 yards and rushing for 1,033 yards, accumulating 37 total touchdowns. A three-star recruit, Willis committed to Auburn University, where he played for two seasons in 2017 and 2018. Over 15 games, he completed 11 of 14 passes for 69 yards with one touchdown and ran for 309 yards and two touchdowns.
In 2019, Willis transferred to Liberty University after a quarterback competition at Auburn. After sitting out due to transfer rules, he became Liberty’s starting quarterback in 2020. That year, he won the Dudley Award, recognizing him as the best college football player in Virginia, and later received the Bobby Bowden Award in 2021 as a Christian student-athlete. He was also named MVP of both the 2020 Cure Bowl and the 2021 LendingTree Bowl, leading Liberty to a 17-6 record during his tenure. Willis amassed 2,250 passing yards and 20 touchdowns in 2020, and 2,857 passing yards and 27 touchdowns in 2021, coupled with significant rushing yards in both seasons.
Willis was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. While his time with the Titans included limited starts and a focus on development, he moved to the Green Bay Packers in 2024 via trade. With the Packers, he quickly demonstrated his capability, stepping in for an injured Jordan Love to lead the team to multiple victories. His performance with Green Bay included achieving a 124.8 passer rating in 2024, the best single-season mark in NFL history for quarterbacks with over 50 attempts.
