Thaísa Daher de Menezes is a celebrated Brazilian professional volleyball player renowned for her exceptional skills as a middle blocker. Her career took off when she joined the youth team of Tizhuk club, where she was coached by Julio Cugna. By 2002, she had made a significant impact by joining the Minas team, securing a silver medal in the Brazilian championship and winning two South American championships with the youth and junior national teams. Her early achievements set the stage for a remarkable career in volleyball.
Menezes gained international recognition as a key player for the Brazilian national team, contributing to their gold medal victories at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Her prowess on the court earned her numerous accolades, including the Best Spiker and Best Blocker awards at various tournaments. In 2011, she played a pivotal role in securing gold at the Pan American Games and the Pan-American Cup, further solidifying her status as one of Brazil’s greatest volleyball players.
