Ophira and Tali Edut, known professionally as The AstroTwins, are identical twin sisters born on December 2, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan. They are self-taught astrologers who developed their expertise by studying the mathematics, angles, and alignments of celestial bodies. Their journey into astrology began in 1992 when Ophira received an astrological chart as a birthday gift, sparking their initial interest in the field. This interest evolved from a hobby of reading charts for friends into a professional career that has spanned decades, making them leading figures in contemporary astrology. Their approach blends ancient astrological wisdom with modern applications, fostering a practical understanding of cosmic influences.
Over their active career since 1992, The AstroTwins have achieved various significant milestones. In 1992, while attending the University of Michigan, they co-founded HUES (Hear Us Emerging Sisters) magazine, a publication focused on multicultural women, which nationally debuted in 1995. Transitioning into astrology, they became the official astrologers for Teen People magazine in 2002, where they wrote daily and monthly columns until the magazine ceased publication in 2006. This led to the launch of their own popular website, Astrostyle.com, in 2006, which provides horoscopes, relationship advice, and interpretive astrology resources to millions of monthly visitors. They expanded their digital presence with an iPhone app, Astrostyle Mobile, in 2013, and a second website, Momstrology.com, in 2014, corresponding with their book of the same name. They have authored multiple books, including “Momstrology: The AstroTwins’ Guide to Parenting Your Little One by the Stars” (2014), a #1 Amazon astrology bestseller, and their recent “The Astrology Advantage: Use Your Horoscope for Personal and Professional Success” (2024).

Since 2009, they have been the official astrologers for Elle.com, contributing daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes, and have held similar roles with Refinery29 since 2013.
