Karina Marriott, better known by her internet persona The Style Idealist, is a stylist and fashion blogger with a focus on self confidence, empowerment and body positivity.

Originally from Bristol, Marriott started her blogs The Style Idealist as a side hustle whilst working a full time job back in 2015. Six years on and it has grown into a trusted source of information on everything from styling, beauty, fashion, relationships and self confidence. The site focuses on styling for curvy, mid-size women in an accessible way, also working to improve readers’ confidence and reject societal pressures surrounding achievements and success. Marriott has built up a loyal following thanks to her honesty and her genuine nature, often sharing personal stories and struggles to show her fans that they are not alone and to open up conversations about difficult topics. The Style Idealist now has over 56k followers on Instagram, and she has launched a podcast with fellow stylist Sophie Edwards called The Pear Shaped Podcast. Marriott’s writing has been featured in reputable publications including Glamour Magazine, Who What Wear and Sheerluxe, as well as working with household name brands such as John Lewis, H&M, Lancome and Amazon.
