Tim Taranto is a professional Australian rules footballer currently playing for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was originally drafted by Greater Western Sydney (GWS) as the second overall pick in the 2016 AFL draft. Growing up in Parkdale, a suburb of Melbourne, Taranto showcased his footballing talent early on, playing junior football for the Mordialloc-Braeside Junior Football Club before progressing to TAC Cup football with the Sandringham Dragons.
