Tom Hanks has established himself as a versatile actor and filmmaker, recognized globally for his compelling screen presence and commitment to various projects. After gaining initial recognition for his co-starring role in the television series ‘Bosom Buddies’ (1980–1982), Tom Hanks made his film debut in ‘He Knows You’re Alone’ (1980) before achieving his breakthrough with the box office success ‘Splash’ (1984).
